Multiple agencies assisted Los Angeles County Fire that responded to a call concerning a structure fire in the 2800 block of Altura Avenue on Wednesday evening.

“The call came in at 7 p.m. from the [LA Sheriffs/Crescenta Valley Station]. It was a two-story single-family residence. The structure [as of 7:17 p.m.] was well-involved,” said Michael Pittman, LACoFD supervisor fire dispatcher.

According to a witness, firefighters ventilated the roof and flames shot up.
