July 1

4700 block of Glenwood Avenue in La Crescenta, a driver parked his vehicle in the area and left the location. When he returned he found several pieces of gardening equipment had been stolen from the unsecured bed of his truck.

The theft occurred between 10 a.m. and 10:20 a.m.

 

June 29

500 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge, a business was burglarized. Surveillance footage revealed a Dodge Charger with paper plates reversed into a parking space in front of the business. Suspect No. 2 used an unknown object and shattered the front entrance of the door. Suspect No. 1 entered the business, jumped over the front counter and began searching underneath the counter. Suspect No. 1 then grabbed what appeared to be a box and handed it over to Suspect No. 3. At the same time, Suspect No. 2 disabled the wires and grabbed the register from the top of the counter. Suspect No. 1 then jumped back over the counter and a few minutes later all suspects exited the business, got into the Charger and drove away from the area.

Suspect No. 1 is described as a male adult about 5’9” tall and weighing about 160 pounds. At the time he was wearing a white hoodie, white pants and white shoes. Suspect No. 2 is described as a male adult, about 5’7” tall and weighing about 150 pounds. At the time he was wearing a white hoodie, black pants and black shoes. Suspect No. 3 is described as a male adult, about 5’7” tall and weighing about 150 pounds. At the time he was wearing a black jacket with white hoodie underneath, black pants and black shoes. Another suspect was in the driver’s seat of the Charger; there is no description.

The burglary occurred at 2:56 a.m.

 

June 28

5400 block of Arroyo Summit Drive in La Cañada Flintridge, a resident reported that an oak tree was stolen from the front entrance of Arroyo Summit Drive. The resident said he is part of the homeowners association for the neighborhood and that none of the neighbors had scheduled the removal of the tree. He had stated he saw the oak tree on June 28 and the next morning it was missing. There was a hole in the ground where the tree once stood. The theft occurred between June 28 at 4 p.m. and June 29 at 8 a.m.

 

700 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge, the front door’s glass window was shattered and cash was missing from the register.

The burglary occurred overnight. 

June 22

400 block of Knight Way in La Cañada Flintridge, gardening equipment was stolen from the bed of a truck. Surveillance footage revealed a dark colored SUV driving past the victim’s truck then turning back and stopping near the vehicle. Two males were seen to exit the vehicle with a driver remaining inside.

Suspect No. 1 lifted the rear hatch of the truck while Suspect No. 2 took wooden side panels off the truck. Both suspects took equipment from the truck, placed the equipment into the waiting vehicle, got into the car and drove off.

The footage showed Suspect No. 1 as a White male in his 30s wearing a white T-shirt, grey shorts and a dark backward-facing baseball cap. Suspect No. 2 appeared to be a White male had either bleached hair or something light colored on his head and wore a long sleeve black shirt and black pants. The suspects’ vehicle appeared to be a black 90s Ford Explorer with a chrome rear bumper, gold front bumper and side paneling over the wheel wells. The rear windows were tinted.

The theft occurred at 1 p.m.

 

June 18

2600 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, a person reported that as he was walking near the location a suspect walked up to him and sprayed the victim in the eyes with “pepper spray.” The suspect then left the location. The victim reported the suspect did not say anything during the incident and he had no idea why he would have been attacked in this way. The suspect was described as a White male, about 5’5” tall and heavy set. At the time he was wearing blue shorts.

The incident occurred at 8:19 p.m.

 

700 block of Angeles Crest Highway in Angeles National Forest, both the driver’s and passenger’s front windshield weather cover were missing along with the vehicle’s Ford Explorer insignia from the car’s trunk.

The theft occurred between 9:15 a.m. and 10:32 a.m.

 

Big Tujunga Canyon Road in Tujunga, a woman reported that after she went on a hike she returned to her vehicle and found the keyhole on the driver’s door had been punched in and several items were stolen between 12:46 p.m. and 4:35 p.m.

 

June 11

2900 block of Fairmont Avenue in La Crescenta, several rooms in a home had been ransacked; nothing was reported stolen between June 11 and June 18.

May 29

Angeles Forest Highway in Angeles National Forest, a person who was driving on the highway got a flat tire on his vehicle. The driver pulled the vehicle into a turn-out and called a family member for assistance. Due to the time of night the driver decided to leave his vehicle and return the next morning. When he returned he found the rear passenger window of his vehicle had been shattered and several items were stolen.

The theft occurred between May 29 at 4 p.m. and May 30 at 10 a.m.
