On Friday, July 15 at about 12:34 p.m., a female customer walked into the Broadview Food Mart located at 3530 N. Verdugo Road to purchase a lottery ticket. As she went to the cashier she and the cashier greeted each other. The cashier was identified as the owner of the store. Suddenly, he allegedly lifted his shirt exposing himself then placed his penis on the counter in front of the 44-year-old victim. He made some explicit comments to the victim before she walked out of the store and called the police. The man was placed under arrest for indecent exposure, a misdemeanor violation.

Over the weekend, the Glendale Police Dept. became aware that some members of the nearby community of where the liquor store is located have commented on social media about the arrest and some have described experiencing similar incidents with the cashier. GPD is asking anyone with additional information to contact the department at (818) 548-4911.
