CV Skate Park Grand Opening – Invite
By Mary O’KEEFE
The Crescenta Valley skate park will be officially dedicated on Monday, Aug. 1 at 11 a.m. at Crescenta Valley Skate Park. Los Angeles Supervisor Michael Antonovich and the L.A. County Parks and Recreation will host the event that will celebrate the new skate park.
The skate park has been very busy since its opening a few weeks ago. All are invited to celebrate this project that was led by then-Crescenta Valley High School juniors Cooper Iven and Corbin Southworth with continued leadership by CVHS then-sophomore Austin Seo, who are all Fire House youth center teens. Iven reached out to the community for support and followed through with L.A. Parks and Recreation and Antonovich on the design of the park.
CV Park is located at 3901 Dunsmore Ave. The CV skate park is located along Honolulu Avenue east of Dunsmore Avenue.
