On the evening of July 19, a Glendale Police Dept. motor officer attempted to stop the driver of an off-road motorcycle for reckless driving in the City of Glendale. The driver failed to stop and recklessly evaded pursuing officers before officers terminated the pursuit. The Glendale Police Dept.’s newly formed Street Racing Task Force actively investigated the incident and identified Christian Valentino Moreno, 20, as the driver of the motorcycle.

On July 26, the Glendale Police Dept. served an arrest and search warrant in the city of Los Angeles and took Moreno into custody for reckless driving and felony evading a police officer. Moreno’s motorcycle, which was at the location, was impounded as evidence.

The City’s Street Racing Task Force will actively enforce and investigate all cases of street racing and reckless driving in the city of Glendale to the fullest.
