A statewide Amber Alert has been issued for two children taken from Boulevard, California.

Sixteen-year-old Hannah Anderson and her eight-year-old brother Ethan were abducted from the city of Boulevard in San Diego County.  James Lee DiMaggio, 40, is suspected of abducting the children, according to an Amber Alert release.

The alert was issued after the bodies of the children’s mother, Christina Anderson, 44, and another child were found inside the burned out home owned by DiMaggio.

The suspect is believed to be traveling to either Texas or Canada. He may be driving a blue, four-door Nissan Versa. California license plate number 6WCU986.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the San Diego Sheriff’s Department at (858) 565-5200.

Hannah is 16-years-old, blonde hair, blue eyes, 5’7″ tall and weighing 115 pounds. Ethan is 8-years-old, sandy blonde hair, 4’11” tall and weighing 65 pounds.

Suspect DiMaggio, is 40-years-old, brown hair, brown eyes, 5’9″ tall and weighing 150 pounds.
