An 18-year-old Glendale man was physically assaulted and robbed while jogging alone on Ramsdell Avenue.
The victim was jogging toward his home on Wednesday about 10 p.m. when three men in a 2008 to 2011 four-door black BMW sedan slowed down next to him. One of the suspects asked for directions, which he gave. The suspect then asked if he could borrow the man’s phone.

The victim fell to the ground from the beating while the third suspect reached into the victim’s pockets and removed his iPod while the beating continued. The three suspects returned to their vehicle with the victim’s iPod and fled the area traveling westbound on Encinal Avenue.
The victim did not require medical treatment.
