The Glendale Police Department has made an arrest in the attempted child abductions of the last few days. The GPD issued this statement earlier today:

The Glendale Police Department has identified and arrested a female suspect who attempted to kidnap two children earlier this week. The suspect, identified as 52 year old Lisa Arnold of Glendale, was taken into custody at approximately
2:30am this morning.
Detectives have been working through the night conducting interviews and search warrants. This investigation is still very active and detectives are working to determine a motive. At this time, the Glendale Police Department is not
looking for any other suspects.
A booking photo will not be released at this time due to the on-going investigation.
