UPDATE – Red Bull Burglary Arrests Made in La Crescenta

Two suspects were arrested for commercial burglary of Red Bull energy drinks in La Crescenta by deputies from the Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station on Friday, according to a release from the Sheriff’s Station.

Suspect Edgar Khasemyan, a 29-year old white male from Tujunga, entered the Ralphs store at 2675 Foothill Blvd. at 5:45 p.m. with suspect Masis Mirzayan, a 35-year old white male from Tujunga. They allegedly stole 51 cans of Red Bull energy drinks without making any attempt to pay for them.

Khasemyan was recognized by Deputy Frank Diana as a suspect who was captured on video at several other Red Bull thefts in the La Crescenta/La Cañada Flintridge area. In one of the thefts, 500 cans of the energy drink were stolen.

Both suspects were booked for burglary at the Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station and have since been released on bond.

There have been similar thefts in the Santa Clarita, South Pasadena, Glendale and Monrovia areas, with suspects who matched the description of the two arrested. Station detectives are investigating the possible involvement of the suspects in additional thefts with police agencies in these cities, as well as other communities throughout the Southland.
