Male Arrested for Burglary, Released, Rearrested Three Days Later for Burglary

On Aug. 8 just after 3 a.m., Glendale police patrol officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of North Pacific Avenue regarding a male who was breaking the front window of a business. Upon arrival, the officers located the male. The male initially attempted to flee, but was ultimately detained.

The window to the business was broken and several contents within the business were displaced. The male, later identified as 24-year-old Jordan Anderson (transient), was arrested for burglary. Due to Los Angeles County’s zero-dollar bail schedule, Anderson was released within hours from custody with a notice to appear in court at a later date.

On Aug. 11 at about 7:45 a.m., Glendale police patrol officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of South Glendale Avenue regarding a burglary alarm. Upon arrival, the officers noticed a shattered window at the front of the business. Officers viewed surveillance footage and identified Jordan Anderson as the suspect.

Anderson was located nearby and found to be in possession of over $700 worth of items from the store.

Anderson was subsequently arrested for burglary and officers were able to obtain a bail hold on him.

Four Occupied Stolen Vehicles Recovered

On July 29 at about 8:30 a.m., an officer was dispatched to the 1300 block of East Colorado Street regarding a stolen vehicle. At about 10:30 a.m., the vehicle was seen on the 1200 block of East Colorado Street. Officers contacted and detained the driver of the stolen vehicle, 32-year-old Daniel Yudico of Glendale. A booking search of Yudico produced a bindle of methamphetamine and a check made out to another individual along with that individual’s identification and debit card. Yudico was arrested for vehicle theft, bringing a controlled substance into a jail facility and identity theft.

On Aug. 3 just after midnight, an officer located a stolen vehicle parked on the 400 block of East Broadway. A male, later identified as 35-year-old Marquis Lucien of Lancaster, was seen standing next to the driver’s side door of the vehicle. Lucien was subsequently arrested for vehicle theft and several outstanding non-local warrants.

On Aug. 6 just after 2 a.m., Glendale police officers on patrol responded to the 1700 block of Heather Ridge Drive regarding a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival, officers located a stolen vehicle in the area. Officers saw a male, later identified as 25-year-old Jose Torres (transient), approach the stolen vehicle. Torres was discovered to be in possession of several access cards and a California IDs belonging to other individuals. During the investigation, it was discovered that Torres was originally accompanied by 42-year-old Evelina Karoglanova of Glendale. Karoglanova was discovered to be on probation and have a warrant out for her arrest. Officers also discovered that Karoglanova was in possession of a United States passport belonging to someone else. Karoglanova was arrested for identity theft, and Torres was subsequently arrested for vehicle theft, grand theft and identity theft.

On Aug. 12 just before 10 p.m., Glendale police officers located a stolen vehicle travelling near the intersection of Grandview Avenue and San Fernando Road. A felony stop was conducted and the driver, later identified as 27-year-old Abelardo Bon (transient), exited the vehicle and fled. A foot pursuit ensued and a perimeter was established with assisting officers. Bon was ultimately detained on the 500 block of West Glenoaks Boulevard. Throughout the investigation it was learned that Bon had a no bail warrant out for his arrest. Bon was arrested for vehicle theft and the warrant.
