800 block of Wiladonda Drive in La Cañada, the front driver’s side window was smashed and school supplies were stolen from a vehicle between midnight and 6 a.m.

4700 block of Vineta Avenue in La Cañada, a mailbox was vandalized by someone knocking it over from the base onto the ground overnight.
Aug. 14
2700 block of Alabama Street in La Crescenta, a person/persons sprayed expanding foam sealant into the dual tail pipes of a vehicle that was parked on the street in front of the location. The vehicle owner told deputies she thought the person that vandalized her car may be a male friend who wanted a relationship with her. She rejected that relationship.
The incident occurred between 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 14 and 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 15.
Aug. 13
1100 block of Descanso Drive in La Cañada, as a person was working inside a home when he heard four loud “snaps or bangs” coming from the street. He believed they sounded like gunshots. He went out to the street and discovered that someone had fired four shots from an unknown type of firearm/pellet gun at the vehicle that was parked directly in front of the residence. Deputies were called and when they arrived they discovered shots from what they determined to be a low velocity pellet gun, or BB gun, had caused damage to the driver side vehicle.
The incident occurred at 4 p.m.
Aug. 4
900 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a man stated he was hired by a general contractor to do some work at the location. He delivered the tools to another employee who was supposed to put those tools in a storage container. However the tools were missing when he went to check on them.
They went missing between Aug. 4 and Aug. 9.
