5500 block of Godbey Drive in La Cañada Flintridge, a 19-year-old La Cañada man was arrested on suspicion of possession of concentrated cannabis (hash oil) and marijuana at 1:45 a.m.

3700 block of Inverness Drive in La Cañada, a 21-year-old Glendale man was arrested on suspicion of possession of concentrated cannabis (hash oil) and marijuana at 11 p.m.


 Aug. 17
4400 block of Rosemont Avenue in La Crescenta, a woman returned home to find the glass on her front door had been broken but the door was still locked. She found nothing missing in her home. The incident occurred between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Aug. 14
400 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a witness at Trader Joes reported seeing one man standing in the liquor aisle talking on his cellphone. He saw the first man put several bottles of champagne into his grocery cart. The witness reported watching the man exit the store without attempting to pay for the items. The witness, who is an employee at Trader Joes, followed the first man outside and grabbed the shopping cart. The man released the basket and ran to the front passenger seat of silver Honda Accord that was parked in front of the store. A second man was sitting in the vehicle’s driver’s seat with the engine running. The two suspects drove north on Gould Avenue and out of view at noon.


Aug. 13
5100 block of Redwillow Lane in La Cañada, someone forced open the front door of a home, ransacked several rooms and stole several computers and purses between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Aug. 12
4700 block of Hayman Avenue in La Cañada, after a day at the beach a man returned home to find his front door unlocked and his home ransacked. Several computers were stolen along with jewelry between 8 a.m. and 8:54 p.m.
