A missing person out of Placentia has been located by Montrose Search and Rescue and LASD personnel in the Switzer Falls area.
Shameca Johnson, 24, was last seen on Aug. 20 as she was leaving her residence in the city of Brea.
“She was located [in Angeles National Forest],” said Det. Lomis, Placentia Police Department spokeswoman.
She was found in good physical condition, said Sgt. Mark Slater, LASD Crescenta Valley Station.
Johnson is being reunited with her family.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department from Crescenta Valley Station and Montrose Search and Rescue have been searching in the area of Switzer Falls.
“We started last night looking for a someone who needed assistance,” said Sgt. Mark Slater.
A call came into the station about 7:30 p.m. on Thursday night. The reporting party said a woman appeared to need help and the team was called out. The search is still in progress. Although there is not much information on the woman there are indications that she may be a missing person out of Placentia. Nothing has been confirmed as of press time.
