WAC – Women’s Athletic Club – is having a bingo night on Saturday, Sept. 21. Doors open at 5 p.m., the first game is at 6 p.m. Each winning bingo game pays $100 cash! The final blackout game pays $250.

WAC was established in 1924. It is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to promoting health, fitness and community engagement. For many years, the Club has provided scholarships to support women in their educational pursuits, specifically with physical education, physical therapy or any related field as the focus of study. WAC has also donated to various local charities enhancing the well-being and development of the Glendale community. Through its efforts the Club fosters a spirit of camaraderie, empowerment and social responsibility.

Two departments remain in the WAC organization: hikers and quilters.

The bingo night will be held at the Verdugo Hills Memorial Hall, 4011 La Crescenta Ave. in La Crescenta.
