Smoke Advisory Continues Through Tuesday, says South Coast AQMD

South Coast AQMD is continuing its smoke advisory through Tuesday afternoon due to wildfire smoke affecting most of South Coast AQMD’s jurisdiction.

Most of the South Coast AQMD jurisdiction (portions of Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino and Riverside counties) will experience smoke impacts with the highest AQI values occurring in direct proximity to the Bobcat Fire and El Dorado Fire. Smoke carried from the fires in Central and Northern California may also contribute to elevated levels of PM2.5 and PM10. Unhealthy or higher AQI levels are possible in areas of direct smoke impacts, particularly those close to the fires.

A detailed smoke advisory is below.

Residents are able to check their air quality in real time by using the South Coast AQMD app (www.aqmd.gov/mobileapp), which is also now available in Spanish, or by viewing the AQI map found at the bottom of the www.AQMD.gov homepage.
