Reward Increases for Information on Missing Woman

An anonymous donor increased the reward for information leading to the whereabouts of critical missing person Elaine Park, 20, of La Crescenta, who was last seen on Jan. 28.
This unique, time-limited reward, which was previously $250,000, was raised to $500,000 cash.
The deadline was also extended from Sept. 15 to Sept. 24 to coincide with the date of Elaine’s
21st birthday. Sunday, Sept. 24, at 11:59 p.m., is the final deadline to leave a tip and claim the reward.
“I am pleading for the public’s assistance in bringing Elaine home before her 21st birthday,” her mother said in a statement. “Somebody knows what happened to her and, if the news of this reward can just reach them, we promise to protect their confidentiality. Please help me spread the word. All I want is to find my daughter. Nothing else matters.”
The family of Elaine Park also released a new video. They are asking for help in identifying the car in this video. (https://goo.gl/EhtTT5)
The video depicts a car driving outside the Calabasas home of the Compere family on Delphine Lane. The property is in a gated community at the northwest end of a cul-de-sac where there are no other homes, so it is atypical for another car to be driving on this block. The car was seen directly after Elaine emerged from the Compere’s home on the previous night to get something from her car before entering an Uber to go to a movie at the AMC Promenade in Woodland Hills with her ex-boyfriend, Divine Compere.
Anyone who believes that they were driving on this street, or may know who was, on Friday, Jan. 27, around 10:19 p.m. is urged to call the tipline or visit the website.
The special tipline, which guarantees anonymity and confidentiality, has been set up at (800) 551-3080. There is also a website at elainepark.tips with further details about the reward and Park’s disappearance. Callers can leave a message, speak to a confidential live operator, and leave either an anonymous or named online tip.
Elaine Park has been missing since Saturday, Jan. 28 at 6:05 a.m. when she left the Compere home in Calabasas. Her charcoal gray 2015 Honda Civic was found five days later, on Feb. 2, in Malibu on Pacific Coast Highway on the ocean side of the street, just south of Corral Canyon. The doors were unlocked, the keys were in the ignition, and her backpack, phone, computer and cash were in the car.
The Park family is requesting:
• That anyone with information or leads as to Elaine Park’s whereabouts immediately call the tipline.
• That anyone who has any footage of parked cars around 26048 Pacific Coast Highway (34.033240,-118.740620) between Jan. 28  at 6:20 a.m. and Feb. 2 at 3:30 p.m. to please contact the tipline.
• That anyone who is able to identify the vehicle or the vehicle’s owner in the newly released footage please contact the tipline.
