The Allen Lund Company has once again been recognized as one of Food Logistics’ Annual Top 3PLS. Every year Food Logistics identifies the leading third-party logistics providers to the food industry.
The editorial team of Food Logistics selected these companies based on information supplied on the submission forms, as well as through research, talking with industry analysts and reader input. They were looking for 3PLS that are helping food companies optimize their warehousing and transportation operations, as well as offering a broad scope of services and capabilities that enable companies to reduce costs, increase flexibility and improve service levels.
La Crescenta resident Alicia Andrew graduated with a master’s degree in Special Education from Azusa Pacific.
University of San Diego student John Wallace of La Cañada studied abroad in England this summer. Wallace took part in University of San Diego’s London Summer Program that immerses students in the rich and complex culture of London and Great Britain. Wallace is majoring in history.
Courses combined classroom study with excursions, field trips, visits to theatres, museums and cathedrals and guest speakers drawn from the rich world of British scholarly and cultural life. The program is housed at Queen Mary College, University of London, located in London’s East End near the Canary Wharf which is very close to the 2012 Summer Olympic stadium.
