The regularly scheduled meeting of the Crescenta Valley Community Association (CVCA) is tonight, Thursday, Sept. 22.
At 6 p.m, there will be a meeting regarding the proposed mixed-use development at 3037-3045 Foothill Boulevard. At 7 p.m. the League of Women Voters will be hosting a pro/con presentation regarding California ballot measures.
On Sept. 29 the CVCA will be hosting an election forum with State Senate District 25 candidate Anthony Portantino at 6 p.m. and County Supervisor District 5 candidate Darrell Park at 8 p.m. Portantino, a former assemblyman, will be running against L.A. County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich in the general election. Darrell Park, a former White House Office of Budget and Management staffer and entrepreneur, will be running against Kathryn Barger, the current chief deputy supervisor for the district.
