Deukmejian Wilderness Park, selected by readers of CV Weekly as the Finest Sunset View, was the site of the annual party celebrating The Finest, those chosen as the finest in their field. The event was held on Friday evening and was attended by more than 100 people, including dignitaries from the Glendale City Council, Crescenta Valley Town Council and the local chambers of commerce among others. Highlights included the distribution of specially made pins by Avianti Jewelers, winemaking demonstrations by Stuart and Marie Byles, music by the CV High School jazz band and photos taken at a Crescenta Valley Weekly backdrop created for the event by Step and Repeat.
