Brian Gonzalez, 25, walked into the Glendale courthouse on Tuesday and surrendered to authorities after police contacted him concerning a recent attempted burglary.
On the morning of Sept. 28 a neighbor in Sparr Heights contacted police to report two men behaving suspiciously in the 3400 block of Las Palmas Avenue.
When a police unit arrived two men fled from the backyard of the residence. One suspect, John Livingston, 19, was taken into custody on Sept. 28. Police restricted traffic in nearby neighborhoods and conducted a search for Gonzales. The suspect was not found.
Police believe these men travel local neighborhoods wearing backpacks, walk to the rear of homes and enter through back windows or doors.
“Evidence has been found that links the two suspects to burglaries in the La Crescenta area,” said Sgt. Ray Harley, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Crescenta Valley Station.
If anyone has any information concerning the suspects contact Glendale Police at (818) 484-1968.
Please report any suspicious activity in your neighborhood to police or sheriffs.
