On Sept. 7, the Los Angeles County Committee on School District Organization officially accepted a petition requesting transfer of the Sagebrush territory from Glendale USD to La Cañada USD. The petition was submitted by UniteLCF.

The County Committee will hear public comments on the UniteLCF petition at two public hearings on Wednesday, Oct. 26 and Wednesday, Nov. 2. Families and community members are encouraged to attend both hearings, listen to the dialogue between the parties, and participate in the discussion.

The Oct. 26 public hearing will be held at 6 p.m. at the La Cañada Unified School District boardroom, 4490 Cornishon Ave., La Cañada Flintridge.

The Nov. 2 public hearing will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Crescenta Valley High School auditorium in the 4400 block of Ramsdell Avenue in La Crescenta.
