And the Rain Came Down

 

A river of water flowing down Rosemont Avenue at about 2:45 p.m. on Thursday.

The rain came and left within three hours in Crescenta Valley, with lightening and thunder adding to this afternoon storm.

Streets became flooded fast as the downpour came just in time for school dismissal.

Estimates of .80 to one inch of rain fell within an hour, according to the National Weather Service.

Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station and Los Angeles County and Glendale Fire Departments responded to several calls for service during the brief storm.
