The Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station will be holding its open house on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event has become a favorite annual tradition in the community.
Visitors can tour the local station and meet deputies, detectives and Montrose Search and Rescue team members. In the station’s back courtyard, there will be a variety of activities including a moon bounce for kids and a Shakey Quakey house that simulates an earthquake. There will also be children photo identification cards and the Share Tolerance Trailer.
“We will also have the Arson Explosive team, a DUI [driving under the influence] [demonstration] and [representatives from the] Wildlife WayStation,” said Dep. Jorge Valdivia, community officer for CV Station.
Admission is free. The station is located at 4554 N. Briggs Ave. in La Crescenta.
