The City of Glendale’s Commission on the Status of Women and the YWCA of Glendale will be holding their annual candlelight vigil for those affected by domestic violence on Thursday, Oct. 18 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and the vigil is an effort to honor victims and support survivors of domestic violence. Stories will be shared of survivors of domestic violence, and there will also be guest speakers and supporters of their domestic violence programs. The vigil will take place at the YWCA Regency Room at 735 E. Lexington Dr. in Glendale. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
