2900 Mountain Pine Drive in La Crescenta, a Bluetooth earpiece and garage door opener were stolen from an unlocked vehicle. The car had been ransacked and the items were stolen at overnight.


Oct. 15
Foothill (210) Freeway and Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge, a 47-year-old Pasadena woman was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. After a routine traffic stop, deputies found the woman to be in possession of 78 pills, later identified as Vicodin, without a prescription in her name. The incident occurred at 3:30 p.m.


Oct. 14
Foothill Boulevard and La Cañada Plaza in La Cañada, a 34-year-old San Diego woman was arrested for driving under the influence. Deputies observed a vehicle dragging its front bumper causing sparks and making a loud dragging noise. Deputies smelled a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the driver’s breath, according to the sheriff’s report. The driver was allegedly too intoxicated to perform the Standardized Field Sobriety Test. The woman was arrested at 10:45 p.m.

2200 block of Mira Vista Avenue in Montrose, someone entered a locked vehicle and stole two televisions sometime between Oct. 10-14.

3100 block of Los Olivos Lane in La Crescenta, a 2010 red, four-door BMW was stolen from the street in front of the location. The vehicle was left unlocked and the keys were left in the ignition. The incident occurred at 9:10 p.m.

4500 block of Rinetti Lane, La Cañada, a 19-year-old La Cañada man was arrested on suspicion of possession and sale of concentrated cannabis and suspicion of possession of marijuana for sale. While on patrol deputies observed a dark Honda Odyssey occupied by four men parked in front of the location. The deputy contacted the occupants and smelled a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. After an investigation, the narcotics were found and the man was arrested at 9:06 p.m.

5200 block of La Forest Drive in La Cañada, a 2007 silver, four-door Lexus 350 ES was stolen from driveway of the location overnight.


Oct. 12
Indiana Avenue and Flanders Road in La Cañada, a 31-year-old Pacoima man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and driving on a suspended license at 10:10 a.m.


Oct. 11
2900 block of Community Avenue in La Crescenta, a 14-year-old was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana and possession of a knife with brass knuckles-style handle. A 15-year-old was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana for sale. Both juveniles were arrested at Crescenta Valley High School at 10 a.m.
