Glendale Announces Vote-By-Mail Drop Off Center at City Hall
Glendale City Clerk Ardy Kassakhian announced that the city has partnered with the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk’s office in implementing an accessible and transparent program for Vote by Mail (VBM) voters to easily and securely drop off their VBM ballot.
Voters who are registered to Vote by Mail, or have requested a VBM ballot, may drop off their ballot at the City Clerk’s Office in Glendale City Hall during City Hall business hours (Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and Fridays from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.). Voters who choose to cast their ballot on Election Day may drop off their VBM ballot at their polling place.
There are dozens of locations spread throughout Los Angeles County that will ensure voters have a convenient place to drop off their VBM ballot for the Nov. 8 Presidential General Election. Nearby cities include Pasadena, Burbank and La Cañada.
Note: Voters who would like to vote at their polling place on Election Day must bring their VBM ballot to surrender; otherwise they will have to vote provisionally. For more information on the VBM drop-off program and to find out the closest drop-off center, visit https://goo.gl/BvJX37.
