3400 block of S. Central Avenue in Los Angeles, detectives at Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station received a call from L.A. police concerning suspects they were detaining. The LAPD officers reportedly said they had found numerous documents that were related to a residential burglary that occurred in La Cañada. Detectives recovered jewelry and several hundred dollars.
The arrest occurred at 1:29 a.m.
Oct. 14
4700 block of Gould Avenue in La Cañada, jewelry and purses were stolen from a home and a sliding glass door was shattered between 5:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
2600 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, deputies responded to a call concerning a man lying down at the location. When they arrived they found the man (no information of the man’s age or resident city was shared from the CV Sheriff’s Station). Deputies found the man lying in a planter at the location. They helped him stand; however, he was having difficulty maintaining his balance.
After an investigation he was found to be under the influence and was arrested at 5:07 p.m.
2600 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, a man took hair products out of a store without attempting to pay and fled the area at 8 a.m.
Oct. 13
5100 block of Pennsylvania Avenue in La Crescenta, a witness flagged deputies down and reported seeing two suspects, a man and woman, looking into vehicles and was concerned about possible vehicle burglaries. The deputies found two suspects identified by the witness walking along Foothill Boulevard.
After an investigation deputies found syringes in the man’s backpack and a driver’s license that did not match the identity of the man. Deputies determined the man to be under the influence of an apparent narcotic. The woman was also found to be under the influence.
The two suspects were arrested at 5:34 p.m.
