4900 block of Hillard Avenue in La Cañada Flintridge, jewelry and other personal items were stolen from a locked vehicle overnight.
4200 block of Beulah Drive in La Cañada Flintridge, a vehicle was stolen from a closed garage. Another vehicle at the home that was parked outside was found to have the trunk and driver’s side door open. The owner had not locked the doors to his outside vehicle. A garage door opener was missing from the burglarized vehicle.
The vehicle burglary and stolen vehicle occurred overnight.
Oct. 15
4900 block of Cloud Avenue in La Crescenta, a catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle. Surveillance video revealed a vehicle parked in front of the victim’s vehicle and what appeared to be two people exiting the parked vehicle and walking back to the victim’s car at 3:54 a.m.
4200 block of Chula Senda Lane in La Cañada Flintridge, a man reported receiving a call from his neighbor, who was out of the area, asking him to check her home to see if all doors were secure because she was unable to set her alarm remotely. He went to the home and found a rear door was open and a window broken. He called deputies who found numerous rooms had been ransacked. Deputies were unable to determine if anything had been stolen. The residential burglary is under investigation.
The burglary occurred overnight.
