The Kiwanis Club of Montrose-La Crescenta is hosting its Third Annual Veterans’ Appreciation Dinner on Thursday, Nov. 8. The dinner will be served in Sadler Hall, at St Luke’s of the Mountains Episcopal Church.

The program for the evening will include the presentation of colors by the Crescenta Valley High School JROTC unit. Led by Lt Col David Worley, the JROTC cadets will also perform the Five Service Salute. It promises to be a relaxing patriotic evening of thanking the men and women who have served and defended America during both war and peace.

The doors will open at 5:45 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6:20 p.m. The cost is $10 per person except for veterans. All veterans will be guests of the Kiwanis and will eat for free. Veterans and their guests must RSVP with Lynn McGinnis at mcginnix@aol.com
