On Thursday, Oct. 26 at 6:42 p.m., the suspect and child (pictured with blurred) entered the Rite-Aid located at 707 N. Pacific Ave. in the City of Glendale. The suspect walked with the child to the liquor aisle, selected a bottle of alcohol and broke the security device off of it. The male then concealed the bottle of alcohol in his pants as the child stood near him. The male proceeded to the candy aisle and concealed candy in the child’s backpack. The child and the male then walked out of the store carrying the stolen merchandise.
The suspect is described as a male white or Hispanic, 30-40 years old, 5’3” – 5’6”, medium build with tattoos on the left arm and hand. The child appears to be male, approximately 10 years old, long dark hair and wearing a blue jersey.
