(323) 418-2266 is accepting: battery backups, cable TV converter equipment, CB radio equipment, CD/DVD drives, cellular, circuit boards, commercial computer systems, computers, computers parts, copy machines, desktop computers, disk drives, dry cell NiCad batteries, external connectors, fax machines, flat screen monitors, floppy disks, keyboards & mouse, laptop systems, magnetic tape media, mixed components, modems, monitors, multi line phones, networking hardware, PBX systems, PDA/handheld systems, phone answering machines, phones, printers, printer parts, radio equipment, remote control handsets, satellite TV equipment, scanners, servers, shredders, speakers, single line phones, telephone switchgear, typewriters, televisions, ups systems, used computer items, VCRs, video cameras, voicemail systems, wires and connectors.
The food pantry, Sue’s Garden, will receive a financial donation based on the weight of items collected that have a recycling fee. Last year, 5,785 pounds of electronics were diverted from the landfill and the food pantry received $167.45.
The company charges a fee for accepting light bulbs, fluorescent tubes, and alkaline batteries, so please don’t bring them to the event. They cannot accept hazardous waste or smoke detectors.
