800 block of Greenridge Drive in La Cañada, a resident returned home to find the rear door had been kicked in. Several rooms in his home were ransacked and jewelry and other items were stolen between 4:45 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

 

Oct. 31
5100 block of La Cañada Boulevard in La Cañada, a mailbox was damaged at a home between 11 a.m. and 12:45 p.m.

 

4400 block of Oakwood Avenue in La Cañada, the driver’s side window was smashed on a vehicle overnight.

 

2400 block of Montrose Avenue in Montrose, a dash-mounted video camera, steering wheel airbag and Halloween candy were stolen and the driver side door handle of a vehicle was damaged overnight.

3000 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, a woman used her driver’s license as identification at a local pharmacy. She left the store and later discovered she did not have her driver’s license in her possession. She received a call from the Social Security Administration that there was possible suspicious fraudulent activity regarding her personal information. The victim contacted the pharmacy and sheriff’s station. The store manager provided the surveillance footage that showed a woman, described as white with blonde hair and wearing a pink blouse, taking the driver’s license from the counter.
The theft occurred at 1 p.m.

3900 block of Ocean View Boulevard in Montrose, a backpack, jewelry, clothing, golf club and laptop were stolen and the rear passenger side window was smashed on a vehicle between 3 a.m. and 9 a.m.
