Lost Boys Found Unharmed

UPDATE:
Two teenage boys who were reported missing from a hike have been found by Montrose Search and Rescue. The two were part of a Rangers’ organization that set out in two groups this morning. Somewhere along the hike, the boys wandered off the trail and got separated from the Ranger’s group.
Montrose Search and Rescue were called out about 2:30 p.m. this afternoon. They found the boys uninjured about 3:30 p.m.

MSR Searching for Overdue Teenage Hikers

Montrose Search and Rescue is responding to a call concerning two young teenage boys who have been reported missing from a hike.

The 13-year-old and 16-year-old boys were to hike from Chilao Campground to Buckhorn Campground. They left on Friday and were scheduled to be at Buckhorn by today, said Lt. Angela Shepard.

Also, on Nov. 10, MSR responded to a call concerning five lost hikers on Mt. Wilson trail.

The Montrose Search and Rescue and Los Angeles County Fire helicopter found the hikers. They were returned home, no injuries were reported.
