On Nov. 17 about 3:50 p.m. a man in an older compact sedan allegedly exposed himself to three teenagers in the 2800 block of Los Olivos Lane in La Crescenta.
The teenaged girls were running in the area when the suspect drove past them a few times before slowing his car next to them. One of the girls walked over to the driver to see if he needed help. When she looked in the car window, the suspect was exposing himself. The girl turned and ran away. The suspect drove westbound on Los Olivos and out of view.
All three girls attend Rosemont Middle School. The district used its phone service ConnectEd to inform parents of the incident.
“Fortunately the girls were in a group,” said Katherine Fundukian Thorossian, assistant superintendent for the Glendale school district.
Rosemont teachers spoke with students during sixth period on Wednesday about the incident and went over school safety tips which can be found on the school’s website. The school also sent a flyer home with safety tips, Thorossian said.
