Scouting for food this Saturday

Boy Scout and Cub Scout troops all over Crescenta Valley will drop white plastic bags on neighborhood porches or front doors for “Scouting for food.” Tough economic times mean that there are many people who can use a helping hand this year. Everyone is encouraged to take a moment to look in kitchen cupboards or pantries to donate a can of food or dry goods for someone who can use the help.

Boys Scouts and Cub Scouts will pick up the donated goods starting at 10 a.m. this Saturday, Nov. 21. All food collected will be donated to local food pantries in the Glendale and Burbank areas.
