The Montrose Shopping Park Association is inviting all to join them for the first annual Tree Lighting Ceremony to kick off the holiday season. The tree, which will be located at the southeast corner of Honolulu Avenue and Ocean View Boulevard, is just part of the White Friday celebration for the shopping park.

Snow will fill the west end of the 2200 block of Honolulu Avenue and as the snowflakes fall, carolers will stroll down the street, all as a way of bringing a traditional holiday feel to what has become a chaotic shopping marathon weekend.

The tree lighting will begin at 7 p.m. on Friday. Shops will be open all day, with specials offered throughout the shopping park.
