The Montrose Shopping Park Assn. reminds the community that tomorrow, Nov. 29 is the annual White Friday event. Throughout the shopping park, shoppers will find distinctive white snowflakes designating special deals.
To further entice the public to mark their calendar, the shopping park association is having tons of snow hauled in to guarantee a White Friday. Beginning at 5 p.m., kids will be able to play in the snow as preparations are finalized for the annual tree and park lighting. The Christmas tree and the shops along Honolulu Avenue will be lit with holiday dazzlement at 7 p.m. Glendale Mayor Dave Weaver will light the tree located on the southeast corner of Honolulu Avenue and Ocean View Boulevard.
In addition, strolling carolers and a visit from Santa Claus will further the holiday spirit.
Continuing for the remainder of the weekend through Christmas, on weekends there will be free pony rides and trolley rides from noon to 3 p.m.
Santa will be found strolling Honolulu Avenue and there will be live music.
