Early Tuesday morning a sergeant with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Dept.-Crescenta Valley Station observed a man urinating in public in the area near Commonwealth Avenue and Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge. The sergeant approached the man, who was later identified as a 42-year-old transient, and found he had a warrant for a felony robbery case out of Orange County. 

He was arrested.

The transient appeared to be new in the area.
