Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies from Crescenta Valley Station are asking for the public’s help with information concerning a home invasion robbery that occurred on Dec. 12 in La Cañada.
At about 7:30 p.m., four suspects wearing masks and gloves forced open the back door of a residence in the 800 block of Inverness Drive. The suspects were armed with a handgun, according to the victims. The suspects put the three female residents of the home into one room and tied them up. They then proceeded to ransack the home and stole collectables and electronics.
Because the suspects were covered in clothing, including masks around their faces, there was not much of a description available.
Sgt. Alan Chu, CV Station, said the public might have seen a car parked on the street or streets nearby because the suspects were in the home for a while or might have witnessed a vehicle leaving the area quickly.
Although frightened, no one was hurt during the robbery.
Anyone with information can call the CV Sheriff’s Station at (818) 248-3464.
