Early Rodders Deliver Toys

On Saturday morning, members of the Early Rodders filled their vehicles with toys and caravanned to Fire Station 82 in La Cañada. They donated the toys to the station, which is participating in the Los Angeles County Fire Dept. Spark of Love toy drive.

Every year, the Early Rodders have collected toys for holidays that were then donated to the toy drive ensuring that underserved children wake up with something special under the Christmas tree.

According to the LA County website, in 2023 the County of Los Angeles Fire Dept., ABC7, Toys for Tots, and Southern California firefighters celebrate the 31st year of the Spark of Love toy drive. New, unwrapped toys and sports equipment for underserved children and teens in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Orange, Ventura, and Riverside counties.

Over the years, the Spark of Love Toy Drive has successfully collected and distributed nearly 11 million toys.
