Los Angeles County Sheriffs from the Crescenta Valley Station are asking for the public’s help in finding suspects who are responsible for several acts of vandalism against the First Baptist Church at 4441 La Crescenta Ave. in recent months.
Capt. Dave Silversparre is asking for the community to report any suspicious activity that was witnessed near the church.
“We have had multiple cases of [vandalism],” Silversparre said. The most recent case happened between Dec. 16 and Dec. 18 when someone who threw a hard object through the window damaged a stained glass window. Other incidents included a glass window damaged by an apparent pellet gun and someone who threw a rock shattering a library window during church services.
Anyone who may have information concerning the recent vandalism or anyone who witnesses suspicious behavior are asked to contact the Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station at (818) 248-3464.
