July 2, 1924 – Jan. 22, 2013

Paul was born July 2, 1924 in Glendale. He served with U.S. Marines, 1st Marines, 5th Battalion during WWII in the Pacific theater and received the Purple Heart in 1944. In 1948, Paul married Bobbe Jean Beeler.

He worked for the City of Glendale for 37 years, 25 of those years with the Glendale Fire Department. He moved to Cherry Valley, Calif. in 1988.

Paul is survived by his wife Bobbe, two sons Steve and Scott, eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be Feb. 9 at the Highland Springs Club House in Cherry Valley.
