1926 – 2013

Hope was born on Oct. 21, 1926 in Gloversville, N.Y. She attended Gloversville High School and graduated in 1944. Her family moved to California in 1950.

She met Donald Talmo while vacationing on Catalina Island. They married in 1952 and had three sons, Mark, Blaine and Brent. Hope was a homemaker most of her life. She was dedicated to her sons as well as her grandchildren. She loved to ice skate as a young girl, enjoyed cooking, shopping and of course loved to entertain family and friends at their home on Creemore Drive.

Hope has lovingly joined her husband Donald, her son Mark, her brother Jim, her grandson Blaine Jr. and her brother-in-law Ken. She is survived by her sons Blaine and Brent Talmo, her sister Norma, her daughter-in laws Lori and Alana and her two grandchildren Nick and Samantha.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Hope’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Funeral mass will be held on March 9 at 1 p.m. at St. Bede’s Church in La Cañada. A memorial gathering will be held at the Elks Lodge in Glendale after the mass.
