Jan. 5, 1933 – Feb. 23, 2018

David Carroll Calame was born in Niangua Missouri to Kenneth and Reba.

They moved to Bakersfield for David’s school years then permanently relocated to Glendale.

David leaves behind his wife of 55 years, Judy and also his sons Michael (Celeste), Mark (Mary) and his youngest brother Ray (Julie). He leaves two granddaughters, two grandsons, four great grandsons and two great granddaughters along with several nieces and nephews.

He retired from the Glendale Police Dept. with 32 years of dedicated service as a patrolman, juvenile detective and school resource officer. Prior to that he worked the ballpark at Stengel Field.

He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
