Lissa died on Feb. 27 at her home in Tujunga surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her sons Peter and Austin Seller, and Michael and David Mooney; and brothers Scott Templeton and Richard Templeton. She is preceded in death by her mother Patricia Ann Fletcher Templeton; her father Richard B. Templeton; and her brother Todd F. Templeton.

Lissa earned a Bachelor of Science degree in food and nutrition from Cal State LA. For many years, Lissa was co-owner of Dream Dinners in La Crescenta. She also worked as a dietician at Kaiser Permanente, LAUSD, Villa Gardens and LA County Hospital. Lissa was an artist with fabric, painting, gardening and cooking.

Her family has been in California for many generations. Leo Carrillo Beach in Malibu was one of her favorite places in the world. Lissa was born in Glendale and lived in the greater LA area (Hollywood, Burbank, Sierra Made, Sylmar, Sunland, and Tujunga). Lissa was only 57 when she left us all too soon.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 30 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at

McGroarty Arts Center, 7570 McGroarty Terrace in Tujunga.
