Nov. 5, 1947 – Jan. 23, 2014

On Jan. 23, James Dante Martino was taken to heaven and reunited with his mom and dad, Bea and Bart Martino.

He was a longtime resident of  La Crescenta  and Tujunga. He attended Clark Jr. High and Crescenta Valley High (where he played football ) and Glendale College. He married in 1997 to Donna, who was the love of his life. They met at a Verdugo Hills Bowling league in 1989. Jim was employed by Kevex Instruments for over 20 years before moving to Vancouver, Wash. in 2002.

He was a great friend and was always there when needed. He had a heart of gold that was as big as the sky. You’ll be missed, Jim.

Jim is survived by his wife Donna; brother Dennis; sister-in-law Sue Martino (Modesto); nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, and many friends who remember James Dante Martino as “a gift” in their lives.

Fond memories and prayers shall sustain us until we all meet again.
