Dina Michele Nardoni
Dina Michele Nardoni passed away suddenly from a blood clot at the age of 48 in Atlanta, Ga. on March 9. Born on Dec. 4, 1962, she was raised in La Crescenta and graduated from Crescenta Valley High School in 1981 where she was on the varsity tennis team. Dina was a Girl Scout for 10 years and earned the organization’s top award, the Gold Award.
Dina’s profession was in the fashion industry which took her to Atlanta. She worked for Saks Fifth Avenue in Human Resources.
In addition to her husband Awni she is survived by her mother Ruth-Anne Nardoni of La Crescenta; brother Daniel (Sonia) of Santa Clara; sister Ronda Talib (Ifty) of Simi Valley; Aunt Sharon Nardoni Yonashiro (David) of Pasadena; two nephews: Jon Nardoni of Fremont and Shan Talib of Simi Valley; two nieces: Heather Nardoni Rost (Chris) of Fremont and Zaira Talib of Simi Valley; and many lifetime friends and her dear rescued dog Darby.
Dina’s father Eugene Nardoni predeceased her in 2005.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on April 9 at St. Luke’s of the Mountains Episcopal Church in La Crescenta at the corner of Foothill at Rosemont.
