Teri McKinzie lived with her son in Bellingham, Washington. Steven Thompson lived alone in La Crescenta. Teri and Steven met online in 1998 in a Christian singles chat room and developed a friendship. Two days after meeting each other in person they knew that they wanted to be married to one another.

During the time with Steven they shared many memories extending from travels up to Washington State and Canada and to Arizona. They enjoyed their trips to Disneyland and Walt Disney World, also. 

But after 21 years of marriage, Teri was called home on April 6. She will be missed by many and will always be loved by Steven.
