2600 block of Fairway Avenue in Montrose, the passenger side window was shattered but nothing reported stolen in a vehicle between 9:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.

 

April 21

500 block of Dartmouth Place in La Cañada, new clothing was stolen from an unlocked vehicle at 2:34 a.m.

 

April 19

5200 block of Castle Road in La Cañada, the rear driver’s side window was shattered and several items were stolen from a vehicle overnight.

 

April 18

2600 block of Altura Avenue in La Crescenta, the passenger side window was shattered and several items were stolen from a vehicle between April 18-21.

 

April 17

3100 block of Evelyn Street in Montrose, an iPod was stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight.

 

April 16

5200 block of Crown Avenue in La Cañada, a woman reported that while she was in the bedroom she heard her dogs barking. She walked into the kitchen and saw a man described as white, in his 30s, heavy set and about 6’ tall, with head poked inside the open sliding door. At the time he was wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt, blue jeans and brown shoes. Once the suspect saw the woman, he ran through the yard, jumped the yard’s fence and ran out of view. No items were reported stolen.

The incident occurred at 1:15 p.m.

 

April 15

200 block of Inverness Drive in La Cañada Flintridge, a resident reported that he requested a plumber to send an estimate regarding repairs to his home. The plumber reportedly did the repairs while the resident was out of the area and sent a bill for the repairs, prior to providing an estimate. The resident stated he did not have a contract, physical or verbal, for the repairs and refused to pay the plumber. The plumber allegedly threatened the resident, who was in fear of his life and well-being.

The threat occurred at 9:30 a.m.
