Laura Glenn of La Crescenta passed away on April 17 after a fall one year earlier that left her bedridden. She was born Jan. 17, 1922 in Axtell, Utah to William and Emma Duffin. She was a beloved and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great great-grandmother, sister, cousin aunt and friend.
She married William (Bill) Glenn (deceased) on July 28, 1940; they were married for 70 years. Laura loved being a homemaker and loved sewing for her children, doing home canning, planning parties and doing crafts. She also loved gardening, landscape painting, rock hounding with Bill, reading, animals, traveling, camping, fishing and taking her children and grandchildren on excursions around Los Angeles. She especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
During the ’60s and into the ’70s, she worked for the IRS, a job she really enjoyed.
Her son, Warren, predeceased her. She is survived by two daughters, Julie (Bruce) Molen and Louise (Albin) Werner, 16 grandchildren (one deceased), 44 great-grandchildren, and seven great great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day-Saints. Interment will be in Axtell, Utah.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Axtell Pioneer Cemetery in care of Don Despain.
She will be missed by all whose lives she touched.
